Annual Financial Statements for February year-end FSPs are due for SUBMISSION to the FSCA. Everything you should know is summarised in this guidance document:

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

In order to assist FSPs with the submission of AFS, CTB must receive the AFS well in advance of the deadline, (by the latest, Monday the 24th of June 2024).

CTB reduces the risk to FSPs in respect of the submission of problematic returns to the Authority, by conducting a 14-point assessment of the AFS. Should a problem be identified through this process, there should preferably be sufficient time for the FSP to correct such issues and resend for submission.

FSPs will appreciate that the FSCA's e-portal becomes extremely slow as the deadline approaches, and capturing time increases significantly due to the delays, which may possibly result in an inability by CTB to submit all AFS by expiry of the deadline.

CTB will only be submitting AFS received from FSPs up to the end of business of Friday, 28th of June 2024. All AFS received after this date and time will only be submitted from Monday, the 1st of July 2024, meaning that they will be submitted late. FSPs take full responsibility for the late submissions of their AFS.
